In House Training: Dean Calderon's success as a teacher and "trainer of trainers" is well documented throughout the years. Many of Dean's clients have gone on to compete on the local, regional, national, and international level of Schutzhund with success that ends on top of the podium. Dean understands that each dog and handler team is unique and their goals are different. Dean's greatest skill is to provide his clients with a custom dog training program to reach their goals. Dean has spent a life time learning about Schutzhund. He has studied under Europe's greatest trainers and brings to America the water from that fountain of dog sport.

We offer dog training at our training facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma by appoinment only. Check out our training calender and join us! You can work individually with Dean or as part of one of his training groups. Dean never cuts corners or leaves pieces of the puzzle out. If you talk to people who train with Dean, they will tell you to be ready for a long complete day of training. Dean also offers helper training, both in trial procedures and in training, by special appointment only. Dean openly shares his training skills and offers a variety of dogs at all levels at which to work.

Where to Stay: Coming to train with us for a few days? Contact us about the availability of our cottage. Our cottage sits near the rear of our five acre property surrounded by trees. The cottage is fully furnished and includes a small refrigerator and coffee maker. We have additional kennel space available for use by our guests and a large fenced turnout area with a pond for exersize. We do allow dogs in the cottage but do ask that they be house trained and well mannered. Other places to stay include the Best Western Sand Springs Inn and Suites at 211 S. Lake Drive in Sand Springs, Oklahoma (918-245 4999) located within 20 minutes of our training facility. The Lake Shore Motel in Mannford, Oklahoma is located within 10 minutes of our training facility and can be contacted at 918-865-4752. Please note that no dogs are allowed inside the rooms at Lake Shore Motel.

Important Note: You must bring your own equipment to training including water bowls, harnesses and leashes. You must also pickup after yourself and your dog. You will not be allowed to train on our property if you dog is not current on all vaccinations. Please note that we do see Lepto in our area. If your dogs have been ill within the past 10 days, please leave them at home.

Seminars: The Schutzhund world knows of the great experience of attending one of Dean's seminars. He has given seminars across America and the world. His ability to come into a club and present a clear step by step dog training program that helps the beginning or intermediate club attain that goal of local and regional Schutzhund success. Dog handlers who attend Dean's seminars that have goals of national or international Schutzhund competition receive the fine tuning that only a trainer with Dean's years of success with his own dogs can provide. Dean's been there himself and he teaches people how to get there and what to do when they get there.
